Why no credit for UK users who reserve the flip like the offer do for US users?

The UK will have different incentives.
The US market is very different, and quite often phones sold have network provider subsidies.
Most of the time sold with contracts.
It's much easier here to buy unlocked phones and contracts are separate to phones. Unless you go through a network provider.

So in the UK we no longer buy phone through networks..

We have the option to get a phone through networks or unlocked through Samsung. I believe you can also buy a phone with a network contract through Samsung as well.
Just we don't get things like phones subsidised etc
Don't forget also the price they pay, they also have to pay taxes on top when they checkout

Even if you go via a provider phones and airtime plan is different. O2 do this. They take 2 direct debits from your account. 1 for your device and 1 for your air time. O2 its only a 30day plan for air time. Your device is 34month direct debit

Yes you do. You have never needed to buy a phone from networks. Hence sim only contracts. But you have 2 payments 2 payments to 2 different company's. O2 do 2 different payments.. 1 for your device and 1 for your calling plan. With o2 you can pay for your device at any time. Once you payed your device plan you bill will go down. Say you got a s22 to day its £22 per month for the device and £18 for you call plan. If you payed your device plan off next month in full your monthly o2 bill would go down to £18

That's not the point. I don't see any insentive to upgrade or stay with a brand that don't see all customers the same.

@AndrewL I did register... And chance of WIN isn't credit. But no thanks.. Time to jump ship elsewhere.
