The very point of a Hybrid Dual Sim phone is to be able to use two sims in it at the same time whether it's two physical sim cards or one and an eSim.
Do take a look in your sim card manager section to set preferred networks etc to see if that helps.
Also check that there are no pending updates.
Sometimes going into Settings, General Management, Reset, Reset Network Connections can help.
Asking your network to check your account is OK may also be be beneficial.
