Transferring photos from my phone to a USB stick

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and I just got around to taking a few photos with the camera. I can see the images on the phone and I can plug a USB memory stick into the phone - but I can't find a way to transfer the images onto the USB stick. The phone lets me copy images to its clipboard but how do I then get them off the clipboard? I can't find any equivalent 'paste' operation.

Surely I'm missing something here? There must be some simple way to do this?

Hi Johne53, I use an S21 ultra but I guess the process is the same regardless. You will probably have to browse to folder 📂 and look for your USB device in order to paste your photos.

Ah, I found it. If I do a simple copy to the clipboard, I don't then get any paste option. But if I select an image and hold it for a couple of seconds, a different Copy option appears - and when I then select my USB stick, there's a Copy Here option.
