Trade in deal for existing upgrade programme members

Hi guys. 

Is there any way to use the £150 trade in any device to upgrade my fold 4 to a fold 5? I'm currently in the upgrade programme but I only pay 42 a month for the fold 4 as I ended up with a massive discount last year, fold 5 is an extra £13 a month.

I went through the upgrade lounge earlier, but couldn't see anywhere to add the any smartphone for the £150 discount. But I can find it on the main fold 5 sales page.

So I'm assuming you can't get the discount if your an existing member?

If you are upgrading
Then you are not trading in your old phone. You will be sending it back and the outstanding balance is paid off, for the new finance arrangement to start up.
You do have the option to pay off the rest of the finance to close the upgrade account. Then you can trade in the device.

Yeh I know that, but currently samsung have an offer on where if you trade in any old phone in any condition you get a £150 discount, so I want to send my fold 4 back on the upgrade, and also trade in an old device to bring down the monthly payments.

Seems odd that new customers can make use of the offer but not existing

You'd have to check with Samsung Customer Support
But I've never been able to do this.
If you have a discount code. You could use this at checkout. But that's it.
Theres usually different promotions on at any time, and different resalers will have different promotions as well.
But that's what the upgrade program is all about so not all the promotions will be available for these

Also, is there a way to make use of the 50% off the starter kit when upgrading? It doesn't allow you to add anything else to the basket during the upgrade so I'm not sure how I'd get 50% off the starter pack
