Hi Guys. I have the above named phone with  SG Watch 4 Classic. 

I've been told if I leave my phone @ home I can use my watch to make, answer calls & txt. Unfortunately I can'. Can you do this with a ove named phone? When the phone is in thd car , switched on, I can only make emergency calls from my watch.

Hi,

Have you enabled remote connection in the Wear app > Settings > Advanced features? Also, in your phone Settings > Advanced features, ensure that call & text on other devices is enabled. If your watch is not LTE, you will need wifi connection to make a call when it is not connected to your phone. Making calls could fail a few times, you should then close and reopen the phone app on your watch and retry.

Wow, thx South 4 the quick response. Yes I have call & txt on other devices enabled on my phone. I'll check remote enabled on my wear app. The watch is LTE. I'll check them all out. Thx again. 😁

@Neo001, when u mention Monike network connection to always on. Do u mean mobile data? ( thats always on, on my phone ).

In your Watch settings. Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Select Always on.  

Also, in the watch settings, there is a menu under "Remote Connection", ensure that calling is enabled.

Hi @Neo001. Sorry 2 bother u again. I've been searching on my watch for Remote Connection '. I'm unable to find what menu it wud b under. I've been searching under Connection. Any idea pls? Thx.
