Galaxy Z Fold | Z Flipmy galaxy zip 3 fold only less than 4 months old LCD screen has a fault started with a green stripe and day after black screen
Customer services are awful sent phone to them and sent it back unfixed as I was quoted £318 to fix this I have refused told to take it to a local shop for quotes which I have done and the reports IV received are similar to Samsung but also the mother board has a fault Samsung not interested told me to pay or I get no help warranty means nothing
So next step I'm seeking legal advice as I'm paying £30 a month till 2025 I was told to take another contract out for another phone and pay for both contracts ...erm I don't think so easier to take it further and not deal with Samsung Right Rip Off Don't buy this phone

Galaxy Z Fold | Z FlipHi @Tedd1
These phone's are expensive and I appreciate it's also expensive sometimes to have them repaired.
I assume Samsung has advised you as to why the repair isn't covered under the Limited 2 Year Manufacturers Warranty, which does not cover accidental damage.
This may help > Consumer-rights-act-2015.
However you decide to proceed I wish you all the best.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Galaxy Z Fold | Z FlipI am having a very similar problem. My wife was using her phone whilst in bed, closed it and put it down. When she picked it up again there was a solid white line about 5mm above the fold, and the top screen was unresponsive. Sent it to Samsung (TMT) and received a quote last night for £309 for "out of warranty" damage to the screen.
I asked them for photographs as I was expecting this, having had a similar issue with my Galaxy Tab 7, when they claimed the screen was cracked but I know it wasn't. They sent me photos of the phone where there are a few scratches on the only part of the phone that is not protected by a case. They also sent me a photograph showing a scratch across the camera, but it is a scratch on the factory fitted protector that is still on the phone. Neither of these (in my opinion) would cause a problem with the screen, but they are refusing to repair.
I contacted BBC Watchdog last night regarding this because it seems to me that there is clearly a design flaw with this phone and Samsung are refusing to address it.
I will never buy a Samsung product again after the two bad experiences I have had with them. I used to be an iPhone user, and if this had been an iPhone I know their customer service centre would have repaired / replaced this phone.
It seems that Samsung are not interested in their customers and once they have your money they done care
