Samsung Flip 4 screen

I bought a Samsung Flip 4 phone as a present. After half a year, the protective film peeled off at the fold. The Samsung service said this is mechanical damage and not a warranty case, and I need to pay for repairs. It's the first time I've come across such quality and service. I will never repurchase a Samsung product and do not recommend it.

It's my understanding every Flip owner is entitled to one free screen protector replacement. Have you tried to claim this?

Samsung do offer one free screen protector replacement @ygrok 

I assume this is forfeit to some form of damage Samsung have determined after assessing the phone.

If you can find a convenient centre to do it for you, I could not and also that they no longer insist on a full device reset.

Otherwise for less stress just order a Whitestone version, it is soo much better and even I managed to install it, it highlighted how poor quality the Samsung protector was.
