Hi All,
I think I already know the answer to this question but after another opinion on it. I have privacy screen protectors on my phones, and have one on the outer screen of the Fold6. I see you can also get one for the internal screen, is this a wise move to get one and fit it?

Thanks

Im one of those cautious people that is a bit careful about the inner screen of the fold.
Think for me taking the original one off would need careful attention. Then putting on a third party one, I'd need assurances that it will protect the screen and more importantly not damage it long term.
Would warranty cover the screen with a third party protector on it

Hey @TheObserver

I would definitely advise against removing the screen protector on your Fold6, as this will void your warranty. If your inner screen protector is peeling away, please reach out to our Samsung Support to get this replaced:

I personally wouldn't risk it, as the screen already has a factory fitted screen proctor on it, if you placed it on Top of that screen protector and you need to pull the privacy one off to replace it. It may end up damaging the screen as they have warning when you first turn on the device about what can damage them.

Someone has already commentted about removing the factory fitted and a mod said it will void your warranty.

I was thinking of adding it on top of the original one as I wouldn't want to remove it. It is just to give me a bit of privacy if I'm sitting in a waiting room and I have the phone open checking emails or similar. The more I think on it though the more I think it wouldn't be a good idea.

That would definitely not be advisable.
In fact I remember reading somewhere that Samsung specifically warns not to do this
Fairly sure it says in the instructions when you setup the phone
