No updates on a brand knew Z flip 3

So I bought this Z flip 3 from Samsung direct in the UK. The phone has quite an old build on it from September 2021 but it finds no updates when I check for updates. I did a factory reset before even setting it up to see if it wpund find an update but nothing. I even tried an O2 sim in it as well as my Smarty sim still nothing.

What else can I do all Samsung live chat says is send it back but that's a pain to do.

Try the PC version of Smart Switch with the phone connected via USB, failing that go to your nearest Samsung Experience store but you may need an appointment for the store

You might have to manually flash the firmware using odin

Mine is the same. Purchased on contract through Tesco. Have you found a solution for this yet ?
