My Galaxy Z Flip 4 keeps shutting down when folded and often suddenly shut down

Hi,

Need help if anyone have the same issue and able to solve this. 

I have just passed a couple weeks from 1 year of using this Z Flip 4, and suddenly my phone keeps randomly shut down and cannot be turned on without giving bait by charging it first. 

Then if it already turns on, either it can suddenly shut down or if folded, it will shut down.

It's really bothersome as this is my main phone. I hope that I won't have to spend much to fix it.

Hi Alice, 

Had the same issue. If Samsung refused to fix it under warranty saying that minor scratches invalidate your warranty. Please contact me.

Well for me samsung found 1000 excuses to not fix it with warranty and because I had another problem I payed €400 and now it's another €500

I passed my 1 year warranty just around 2 weeks when it broke down. Extremely heartbroken. So, i had to go to the service center and paid equal to around US$150 (due to the flexible they say) I think warranty of 1 year especially for flip phone is not making any sense. Issues happened more than my other phones before. This flip, even the screen protector was bubbled in the middle in 6 months usage.

Mine was still in warranty but the said any damage even cosmetic they void the warranty  even if it had no effect on the repair Disgusting service

they refused to fix mine said there was small pit marks on the top of the screen and voided any warranty. Joke of a customer service anything not to let these faults be counted in their fault numbers. I told them they are charging people over £1000 to test their BETA phones that have poor quality and break within a year.

disgusting customer service I told them they are conning the public into testing their BETA phones and paying £1000 for the privilege. They voided both my phones  told me any scratches of other damage they deem to be there seen or not voids the warranty

My phone zflip 3 won't turn on while being switched off for few weeks , I put it on charger but it dont turn on at all

Its so weird seeing so many people with this problem. I tried taking exceptional care of this phone and managed to not drop it for over a year but this issue still happened. It started with the phone only charging when it was closed before this whole restarting thing started happening.

Took it to my local Samsung and the guy checking it was super rude saying the frame was crooked and started accusing me of having dropped it and that it was not covered by anything at all.

Disgusting service. Had to to take it to a local phone repair shop to get it to be usable again but the issue still happens sometimes. It's such a shame because I really really loved this phone and wanted to keep using it for way longer than a year and a couple of months.

I'm having this issue now & its out of warranty. I've loved the phone up until this point. Also having problems with the side buttons.
