The diagonal screen size of the unfolded Z Fold3 is 7.6 inches. My previous phone was the 5.8 inch screen A20e, probably the smallest in the Galaxy range. This phone became virtually an extention of my left hand, fitting neatly and comfortably in the palm of my hand. I was a little concerned as to whether or not the Z Fold3 could become a worthy successor. In my experience 8 and 8.4 inch tablets are just that little bit too large and heavy to fulfill this one handed function for prolonged periods. My glove size is large, so I suppose my hand is a bit larger than the mean.
However, I was very pleasantly surprised. My Z Fold3 came with the kit case which I have found quite adequate. You can curl your fingers around the pen holder pressing the left edge of the Fold3 against your left thumb and hold it very securely for extended periods of time. For me, the size, weight and form factor are near perfect for sustained one handed operation. I have found it can quite easily become your go to tablet/phone.
From my experience Samsung have got the ergonomics perfectly right, as reflected by the worldwide sales of the Z Fold3.
