I can't see the new battery level display

With my Flip6 closed, I can no longer read the battery level indicator following today's One UI icon update. Is there an option to make it bigger?

I confess I didn't find it easy before as I assume the battery status should have been legible even when the screen was dimmed…but it's a lot worse now.

I realise screen estate is at a premium with my Flip6 but I'm seeing a huge clock display while the navigation buttons at the foot of the screen and the 'Clear' button are too small for my fingers (the navigation buttons are tight up against the edge of my screen protector making them even harder to hit). I would love to be able to change these sizes – unless this is the price I must pay for this phone.

who exactly are we supposed to be arguing with.  Having to defend our eyesight because a stupid update has made an icon illegible. Where's the management not platform trolls?

This is a rude platform. An honest question about a real problem deserves to be addressed by a knowledgeable person not a smart alec spewing snark.

It's completely unreadable now. It is much less clear than the previous clearer display. A case of poor ergonomic design which is less functional than before.

Isn't it really sad how some people have to trawl these pages for an audience in order to try to make themselves feel smart with patronising comments!!

I empathise with you being unable to read the battery level and I've 20:20 vision. I managed to resolve the issue to a degree by increasing the screen brightness level. Not perfect but it helps.

Thank you...that does help although your suggestion uses more battery power, ironically and makes some other things less comfortable to view.

I totally agree with you about rude, patronising people who seem to take pleasure in being unkind to people. I can only presume they have nothing or noone in their sad little lives so feel the need to hide behind the internet and bully people because they wouldn't have the balls to say the same things to someone's face.
For some people it isn't necessarily just the size of the text why they can't see it properly. As @flippitysix says, it can also be down to the text and background colours that can affect being able to read something. My eyesight is ok and even I agree the battery percentage icon is not as clear to see as it was before the latest update.
Best thing is to totally ignore such malicious people and just feel sorry for them and their pathetic little lives.

I agree what you are saying about the text and background colours and my vision is totally ok. I don't think there is any way of changing the icon to a different one which is quite annoying!
Btw.....I feel sorry for these saddo tiny brained online bullies who feel the need to be nasty while hiding behind the internet. 😁

Thank you - it's good to know I'm not alone. But Samsung clearly don't think this is a problem as there have been two, maybe three, updates since the battery icon changed and they haven't improved it. I'm surprised their own in-house testers signed it off.

As for keyboard bullies, I'm sure the most effective response to them is not to descend to their level of existence…since they are apparently encouraged to patrol the forums causing trouble.
