Hello, My fold 3 works well except that the inner screen becomes nonreactive randomly with the bottom 3 buttons (Open apps; Home screen; Back) grayed out. At the same time if the phone is folded, the front screen is responsive, but going back the inner screen still remains unresponsive.

Please help

Thanks

Obviously that shouldn't happen @Bhiman

I haven't experienced this scenario myself,  however my preference is to use the gestures option.

That said I haven't come across lots of people saying this is happening on their Fold 3 phone.

Here are some generic tips you could try.

  1. Soft reboot by turning the phone off and on.
  2. Ensure your phone's software is updated.
  3. Make sure your apps in the Playstore and Galaxy Store are updated.
  4. Clear your System File Cache via the instructions in the Samsung Link. You may need to hook upto a computer or insert your headphones to get to the recovery menu. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/
  5. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ disables downloaded apps, themes and other launchers to help determine if one or more is causing conflict.
  6. Back up and factory reset as a last resort.
  7. Samsung Experience Store  / Samsung Service Centre can take a look at the phone.

I wish you all the best with this situation.
