I have had the galaxy fold for a good 6 months now...it is an amazing phone bar one issue that I have had which has resulted in me never buying a Samsung phone again. I have always bought Samsung phones.
The issue is that my camera screen at the back of the phone recently cracked.
Now this phone has always felt fragile to me and I have treated it with kid gloves at all times, but still the camera screen cracked.
As far as I am concerned this is a design fault, after all the glass is raised at the back and therefore totally unprotected- I believe the fold 2 has had this issue rectified.
The company have refused to mend it for free and have told me it could cost up to £400 to fix. I do not have that kind of money.
I believe this is/was the most expensive phone and as Samsung will not acknowledge this flaw in their design and rectify it, regretfully I can never buy a Samsung make again.
