Galaxy fold 3

My galaxy fold 3 has developed hair line cracks down the fold line , anybody else have this.

If the screen is still working OK
Then it will probably be just the screen protector.
If you contact Samsung Customer Support. They can arrange a repair replacement screen protector to install.
Or if you have a Samsung Experience Store near you. Some can do replacements in store, but you'd have to book first with Customer Support
You can go into the support section on the Samsung Members App and in there be able to get contact details

No it's the actual screen , the protector came off months ago .

Well you will in that case need to contact Samsung Customer Support.
I think it's a two year warranty for the screen.
So as long as there's no physical damage or had a hard drop, it might be covered.
But the phone would need to go in for an assessment.
But if there are any costs that would be needed to be paid. They will advise you before they start work.
But Customer Support will better advise you

Only a years warranty I'm afraid ànd I contacted Samsung and they said it would cost 700 pounds for a replacement screen .

Samsung apply a Limited 2 Year Manufacturers Warranty on their phone's.

Not 1 year.

I appreciate Samsung are advising a repair cost over the phone but they really need to have hands on to assess the phone to determine whether this is covered under the 2 year Manufacturers Warranty or not.

If they deem it's accidental damage then there would be a cost.

Look to any available insurance such as Home Contents Insurance and some Bank Accounts provide cover as a perk of the Account.
