Hello, I have a Samsung z fold5 and for the last couple of months, I haven't been getting any notifications on Gmail.

I have the notifications turned on and show on lock screen and everything, I've gone on the Gmail app and checked and made sure all notifications on there are turned on aswell and they are. When I click on the Gmail app, loads of emails end up quickly come through.

Anybody else having this problem or does anyone have any answers as to why and what I should do

A couple of thoughts jump out ...

1. Do you have any routines set up?
2. Are you using Standard Profile or Lite?

Ermm I have a like night Time routine which stops all notifications after say 9pm and then it turns off at 6am but still don't get any email notifications.

Ermmm standard as far as I know lool

Also worth checking whether you have any Do Not Disturb functionality turned on....

@joey18: You may also wish to try heading to Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings > Manage notification categories for each app > On. 

Now, head to Settings > Apps > Gmail > Notification categories, and make sure that all options here are toggled on.
