My last software update was July 3rd at night. Ever since, I am facing increasing issues with my phone. First, the volume decreases significantly when I flip-close the phone (never happened before the last update). Second, waking -up my phone is not responding properly. If the phone is unfolded, turning the screen on and off is as normal; but turning the screen on after the phone was folded in pure pain.
When I went to Samsung dealer in Alexandria - Egypt, the lady informed me that I needed to change the screen.... (she confirmed this without even trying to turn the phone on and off......a decision by just holding the phone in he hands).
This is the second time I face problems with Flip 4. I bought the device in October 2022. It first malfunctioned in March 2024. Back then, if the phone was closed, it instantly shuts down. And the tech-support informed me then that I had to change the screen. it costed my 50% of the phone price. Now......I am advised to change the screen again.
Dear SAMSUNG, if you cannot produced a decent. durable devise that folds, and which we do not need to replace or repair every 18 months...... please stick to the regular devises.
