Anyone got any experience swapping an esim to a new device?

I'm swapping from z fold 3 to z fold 4. On vodafone in the UK if that makes any difference.

@christianlowe: If you have the QR code and PIN that you used to activate the eSIM on your ZFold3, then you can use the same details on your new device, as far as I am aware. When you make the switch, you will need to deactivate the eSIM on your Z Fold3 by heading to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > More SIM card settings > Remove all mobile plans. Once you've done this, grab your new phone and head to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Add mobile plan, and follow the on screen prompts. For clarity, however, I recommend reaching out to Vodafone directly, where an advisor will be able to look into this further for you.

You can't use the same eSIM Qrcode with Vodafone UK, you need to request a SIM swap.

I've got vodaphone to send me a sim card so I can swop to physical sim ahead of fold 4 arriving , didn't want the hassle when it finally arrives .
Also handy if I have any issues with new phone and have to use temp phone .
