Dual sim not activating

Hi all, need help with my zf4.

I'm using my 1st sim with unlimited data and I have a backup sim with only 500mb, if I toggle the dual sim always on I recive a message that forwarding worked on sim1 but not from sim2 (as in the pic)

Now, my main concern is to have data when sim1 cannot get decent signal

Is anything I should toggle else where to make sure I'm always covered?

(Main sim have signal in most places but occasionally I would love to be ready with that small extra data)

Your carriers need to support call forwarding and call waiting. Do they?

Call forwading has nothing to do with data. So I think you should be good.

Obviously the option in your Sim Manager under Data Switching and Back Up Calling should work @F-I-T  

Just for checking I'm wondering if swapping your sims around would make a difference 🤔 

I have the same set up on my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra with two physical sim cards from two different networks just in case an area I visit has fringe coverage with one of my networks. This works flawlessly. 

The only other option is when you notice data has dropped is to pull down from the top of your phone and tap on the Mobile Data tab to swap sim cards for data. Not the most seamless option I submit.

I see what you mean, never noticed I could do that, not so handy but could help me, thanks so much
But i belive those phone should do this switching automatically...

I have noticed that the 500mb dropped by 50ish mb as I've been twice on an uncovered area
So it does switch best data automatically?
