Hi
I wonder if someone can help and advise please. I have Zfold 3 for about 9 months and yesterday noticed a small crack appeared inside the inner screen where it has crease. I understand that Samsung warenty doesn't cover but I am assuming it is faulty set so Samsung should take some responsibility. Has anyone got similar issues, please let me know what is the best way to deal with it. I have to peel off the protector a couple of months ago due to protector had black spot developed.
Thank you

Peeling off the factory fitted screen protector does not void the 2 year manufacturers warranty,  however damaging the screen by the act of removing the protector does.

You'll need to visit a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre or arrange to send the phone back to Samsung for them to assess the phone @KR1

If they deem the damage as accidental damage then they'll ask for a fee to repair the phone.

I wish you all the best. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I've had the same issue as you! Ee said out of warranty but that's mainly because they don't want to spend the money on something that's clearly a design related issue. The concept is great. The execution is still not there. It didn't even last 7 months before displaying issues. Cracked screen. Poor battery life.

If my issue is not resolved by Samsung, it will be the last product I will buy.

Mine will be picked up tomorrow.

Once the crack goes, it just gets worse everytime you open it. The yellow is just my poor attempt to cover the faces 😉

Ee say by taking it off you are invalidating the warranty as it is integral to the screen. Seriously, this is what I was told on Tuesday. They just don't want to touch the phones.

Tbf can't blame them! As i was on my way to the store, I hoped if i peeled it I could see if the protector was a part of the problem, it wasn't but that didn't help me.

Still to be picked up... dpd decided to come a day early... I so fed up about this whole experience. You buy into the technology and not supported when obvious faults arise.

Ridiculous that to even get new screen protectors it has to go to a specialist.
