Hi I have set up a bixby routine to turn on WiFi hotspot on my phone when I leave my house for the school run for my kid to connect to in the car.
The routine works but only seems to activate if I manually unlock my ohone and scroll down the notification panel. Which kind of defeates the purpose as I could just as easily switch on the hotspot from there.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Only two things I can think of and both are a shot in the dark
1. Do you have any kind of Data Saver routine on when your phone is locked? Equally, is the Location GPS on your phone still active while locked?
2. The Bixby routine for leaving home works off the GPS through Google Maps (I might be wrong about this but it looked like it last time I checked) and I find this causes a big delay in the phone actually detecting when leaving home because Maps works off something like a mile radius in every direction from your home address location.

No data saver is not on..and I have actually set it to work off the home WiFi as opposed to GPS. Although will look into your suggestions
