This depends entirely on your usage
For me I need my phones at 100% at the start of the days
But lighter usage, you can make use of the protect battery option
For me, and it's my opinion. I try to avoid the topping up during the day. So keep to charging once a day
I find the batteries in my phones last ages
I also try to avoid fast charging unless I am in need of it
