I cant make it so my bluetooth does not control my audio volume. Please help?

There used to be a setting called media volume sync. Now that setting was automatically on and i cant turn it off. The volume is way too loud at the lowest setting. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help me! Thank you!

In Developer options find,

Disable absolute volume: Disables the Bluetooth absolute volume feature in case of volume issues with remote devices such as unacceptably loud volume or lack of control

Restart phone to take affect.
