Why does the zoom look so cartoonish???

The zoom on my camera looks like water color or a cartoon can anyone tell me if they expierence the same issue??? very frustrating and annoying

Same here!! its frustrating when on previous versions it was way better. But then the S9+ doesnt have this problem... comparing both cameras i realized that when zooming in with the S9 there are two small ¨leaves¨ icon which always have the same color but with the S9+ those icons change... maybe a macro type of thing. Not sure but def the zoom on the S9+ is way better. Any software that can be downloaded to fix this filter like pics?

I have the same issue on the Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra. so frustrating as I just moved from hauweii and thought this would be a better camera, but its quite disappointing so far 😔

to I'm so upset over this it ruins all my zoomed in pictures! This was supposed to be a picture of a frog close up!!

I know and I hate it!! No idea why this would be the case it makes no sense and I can never zoom in when I need to!! So annoying ! Samsung what is up with this ?? Please do something to fix!!
