Why am I getting floating chat head type notifications for messages and Whatsapp? Also..

Hello you knowledgeable people,

please can someone tell me why I am now receiving notifications of sms and Whatsapp messages with a little round messenger style chat head, and when I click this it opens into a minimised version of the window?

Is it a setting I have inadvertently activated? How do I change it back please?

I am very frustrated with it!

And yes, I did walk the dog in my pj's

Hi there. To turn of the Smart Pop-up view feature, go to Settings > Notifications. Scroll to the bottom then it should say, 'Looking for something else?' in that section tap 'Smart pop-up view' then turn off all the apps on the list. Hope that Helps!

I don't even remember activating these but that doesn't mean I didn't, haha!  

I'm so grateful - what an awful 'feature' that was.
