WhatsApp notification issue

I recently update whatsapp to 2.19.53 version on my galaxy s9 plus with android 9.

I 've noticed when I reply a message from the notification, it stays on my status bar. Before this update, when you hit the send button, the notification dissapeared. This is only happening with whatsapp.

Does anyone know how to solve it? It doesnt make sense the notification still there when I already have replied the message.

Were you able to find a fix to this? It is irritating. Please let me know if there is any workaround available for this. No one seems to be helping us.
