Web browser history

Hello 

What is the automatic setting for web history in the Samsung web browser? Is everything deleted within a year, 3 months or does all activity show?

I'm not sure there is a setting you can choose @Annie528 

They may just overstrike when it gets too busy.

It holds your current history and then the history for the last 7 days.

You can clear the history via the burger icon in the bottom rh corner and tap history and then the 3 little dots in the top right hand and choose delete.

So if I write a webpage name in the box and it automatically shows up as a history page, it is recent? It can’t be something that is a year old?

Are you finding older history than that ?

This may be silly but I found Like a web message from a dating site on my boyfriends phone even though he had erased his history. He says it is a year old but I don’t think so. Hope you can help me. 
you know I write up in the box a webpage and it popped up there like it was from the history.

It maybe being drawn from his Google history then and not through his Samsung Internet App.
