We have had an unwanted pie update on an S9, which is a problem as the user is autistic, but apparently there is no help and no way of removing it available.

Let's hope Google are more helpful with their smart phones

@Piesucks: Sorry to hear about this. Regretfully it isn't possible to revert back to a previous Android version following an update, however if you should require any assistance with the new UI then please let me know and I, along with the rest of the Community, will be on hand to help.

Up until the update my phone worked fine. Old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Now my phone shuts off at night without me doing it,  apps don't open, and the layout is terrible.

Have you considered using a theme , icon pack or 3rd party launcher such as Nova Prime.

Personally I'm liking the Samsung One Ui  / Pie update but understand and accept some dont @ElPaso1

I can't advise here how to roll back firmware.

Please use Google Search and or look on the xdadevelopers site to learn how.

A person doing this does so at their own sole responsibility knowing that a phone can be put Into an unusable state and possible manufacturing warranty being voided.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
