system ui can't write to sd card

Has anyone found a fix for this? I have cleared cache. In safe mode I can read the SD card.

I have spoken to samsung and all they said was back up and reset but I have read this doesn't fix it either.

It seems like it could be a fault with the sd card. The quickest thing to do is to try another sd card that definitely works to eliminate an sd card fault.
