It was strange because I hadn't changed anything in any settings, I restarted still nothing did a reset still didn't change so I searched online and got to a forum page asking about same thing status bar disappeared, person said it had been a glitch and got a new phone o.o but I read down comments and one had said change wallpaper because they had a white background and happened to them so because it was white status bar disappeared. Though it was there with earlier with same wallpaper and was more of a dark grey but I thought ok I'll change wallpaper to a darker one and it came back because status bar had turned white and became invisible for some unknown reason.
I looked at your reply and did soft reset like you said then applied my wallpaper I was using before to see if status bar was disappeared still but it's now visible and status bar gone grey to become visible on a white background, there was a notice coming up to say it had disabled something to help see. I forgot what it was it disabled but it was something about switching transparency on icons due to colour of wallpaper being used.

Hi @CLKent.

Let's try a soft reset on your phone. This will end all processes and give the phone a fresh start. Press and hold the 'Power' and 'Volume Down' buttons until the phone restarts.

Let us know how you get on.

I am having this problem and still haven't fixed it. I've tried a soft reset - and reset all phone settings to original. Neither had any impact. I have nothing on the lock screen at all. And no status bar. The notifications are also not appearing and nothing happens when I swipe down from the top of the screen. Help!
