Hi Everyone,
I am new to the community, and i have a problem with the Spotify connection to the Garmin. The Garmin has an option in the bluetooth settings once paired, but when you tick the box to connect it takes a few seconds and says "Failed". It used to work, so I am thinking it could be a "permissions" issue, or something changed following a software update??
Any help ould be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi Carl,
I have tried and they don't respond, I had thought that Samsung might help me. The Garmin works with an Iphone but fails with both my son's s8 and my s9+. So next time we will be buying Iphones, thanks for your help

I have just spent the afternoon googling and the fix is that your Zumo Friendly name in the Bluetooth area is it's default
zumo 595
Nothing more

Hi Chambo,
I have the same issue with my Garmin Zumo 595Lm. I have did some testing and researching and found out the issue is porbally with Spotify.
In version 8.4.77.779 was everything working fine.
So when i need to use my spotify with my garmin in reinstall spotify and install the old version.
If you downgrade the spotify app. Don't forgot to switch off auto update in the play store.

Woohoo! Changing the friendly name worked for me after 18 months of frustration and having all but given up. Thanks for sharing. Best part is I can use the current version of Spotify and allow updates
