Why has the option for Single tap to answer a phone call been removed in the One UI update?

This was one of the better features on the S9, but has now gone.

Please bring it back.

This works on my S21, not ideal but better than nothing: Settings -> Accessibility -> Interaction and dexterity  -> Assistant menu -> Single tap to swipe [on]

Then, set "Transparency" to Max (all the way to the right), and enable "Show as edge icon".

The edge icon will be almost invisible and you can move it to he corner of your screen where it doesn't interfere with anything.

So now assistant menu is on but you won't see the annoying floating icon, and tap to answer is enabled.

Yes I discovered the same solution, "Mickey Mouse" at best but haven't had time previously to post. Just amazes me that Samsung is so intent on stuffing in features that no one could give the proverbial tinker's cuss for the struggling artist about but doesn't understand basic UI principles.

Yes, that's the way to fix this problem, but why should we even have to have an Assistant Menu on our screens to begin with, in order to answer a call. This is just too ridiculous!!

Still here in 2022 with this same problem. Sort it out Samsung. So many backwards decisions. All I want to do is be able to answer calls with a single tap rather than a swipe. I keep missing calls because the swipe doesn't work. This isn't an accessibilty feature. This is a standard, every day use feature. I don't want to have to have a floating menu on screen the whole time in order to enable this option. How have you managed to completely over-engineer a ridiculous solution to a very simple problem? Especially given that it used to work...

It's still a Mickey Mouse solution, even though the icon is off to the side, it still gets in the way at times. At the end of the day Samsung is just a box flogger, not interested in incorporating any feedback and you go downwards from there...
