Why has the option for Single tap to answer a phone call been removed in the One UI update?

This was one of the better features on the S9, but has now gone.

Please bring it back.

Yes, I agree. It went away with the last update.

I positively hate that Samsung removed the single tap button capability for answering the phone and also dissmissing things like alarms, this is terrible and I am ready to move to an Iphone if this does not get fixed and put back!

Settings -> Accessibility -> Interaction and dexterity  -> Assistant menu -> Single tap to swipe [on] . There you go!

But hopefully they'll move the option out of the Assistant menu because I dont want the Assistant on 😕

Fully agreed, but I will take the solution as is as I hated fighting to answer my phone or turn off alarms, thanks again!

This works. That floating assistant button is a pain, but I like the ability to answer the phone with ease.

Agreed, I went in and turned off the Flaoting Assistand notifications so I no longer care about it :smiling-face:
