Samsung S9 started to have screen problems a few weeks ago, after doing several official updates. this happened just before the 2 year guarantee expired (coincidence?). because of the pandemic I couldnt go to the samsung store and action on the guarantee. have  factory reset, and clean up cache and still a problem.

does anyone have a solution or faced the same problem?

thanks

Not in my case. In my case if I turn on always on, it would be the same as when the screensaver turns on, the screen will have horizontal lines all over.  There's definitely a screen problem here, because more recently I can't even use the touch screen properly, especially if I need to use the home/back/menu buttons at the bottom.  Most of the time it's unresponsive, but you can make them respond if you swipe the middle of the screen first, almost like something has gone really bad with the screen.
I'll try to post some pics later.

Not in my case o.

If my "Always on Display" is enabled, my screen display is very bad, showing the horizontal lines and stuffs.

Whenever my phone is warm or hot, the display goes worse, but becomes better whenever the phone is cold.
