Hi all. I just bought a new S9. I note that the shutter button in camera mode should allow me to zoom in and out. However, mine doesn't. I've chatted with Samsung and they couldn't provide an answer.

Many thanks for reading

Any input on this, guys? I'm thinking it's perhaps Pie software related?

I've tested this on a phone with Oreo and the soft pressing does work, unfortunatley I don't have a phone with Pie on to check at the mo'.

How hard are you pressing it?

I noticed at first that I pressed with a tad too much pressure and ended up taking a 30 photo burst of my keyboard.

Check this video out on the Samsung Australia website.

It's hard to explain, its the smallest little touch that allows you to do it.

As soon as your finger touches the shutter button, start your swiping.

As you've already said though, it may well be a feature that has been removed with Pie.

I've tried so many times. I think it's a feature that's been removed. Stupidity as it was a useful function! Thanks for your input. 👍
