Samsung s9+ Android Pie update USB problems

Ever since completing this update, I cannot connect my phone to my windows PC via USB. It still charges, but I cannot access files or tether. I used it perfectly last week, but since the update it has been driving me nuts. Help!

@Metal_ZA: Are you using Smart Switch to connect your phone to your PC? If not then please check the following link and download it for PC or Mac, connect your phone using your USB cable and you can backup and restore files to your home computer in this manner: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch.
