Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ smartphone which cannot receive the new Android 10 ONE UI 2.1 (relesed oct 2020).

This problem is well known, I'n not the first to encouter it.

I bought it on Darty Marketplace, but it seems to be a UK phone.

The "Settings" / "Software update" still indicate that the phone is up-to-date.

I tried to update through smart switch, with same result.

Model : SM-G965F - Dual SIM 128GB.

@CHMultimedia, you seem to have the correct Stock Firmware (link in https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s9-series/unable-to-update-to-andorid-10-s9/td-p/1733656 doesn't work anymore : https://1drv.ms/f/s!Av9nrwh43L-agoYvRuBdLutzxFQQUw)

Can you share this firmware again, please ?

Do you use Odin to perform the upgrade ? If yes, what version ? 3.14.4 ?

Thanks for your help

Philippe

Hi, there will be different PDAs with each update. The latest version is at the very top of the Sammobile link;)

I'm not sure CHMultimedia is active on this forum as ther have been no posts from them since 2020.

You can download firmware from Sammobile.

Hello Pugs1957, and thanks for your response,

I checked the site sammobile, with my reference SM-G965F and my CSC (BTU --> UK), but there is a lot of different files depending of the PDA.

I don't know hox to get my PDA.

I used *#1234# to get information, and I retrieve informations like AP, CP, CSC and Model, but the AP or CP are identical (G965FXXS7CSJ3), and not in the list of sammobile (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s9-plus/firmware/SM-G965F/BTU/#SM-G965F).

Do you have any idea of what I should download ?

Best regards

Philippe

I'm here, just very busy with university. Some of the messages sent to me get drowned out by the volume of messages I receive but I'm always ready to help when I see these requests. If you don't get a reply from me and really need my help, tag me again later so I can see it. Here is the requested fast download link with everything you need:

That is not correct, I wrote a full guide on the technical aspect of mobile photography in late October. My availability is just very limited with my studies, plus sometimes the tagging notifications get drowned out by everything else. I still aim to be active and helpful whenever I can.

Hello @CHMultimedia ,

Thanks for your answer too, and for your link.

I retrieved the 3.14.4 version of Odin from https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s9-plus/firmware/SM-G965F/BTU/download/G965FXXSHFUJ2/158842....
I put it on your SharePoint if you are interested.

Regards

Philippe

The version of Odin I give with my download is a version tailored for "esoteric" flashing, something I'm often asked help about, which is why I haven't been storing the base 3.14.4 version on my online storage. Anyways, hopefully your issue is fixed now. If not, just let me know.
