S9 plus not sending or receiving mms images

S9+ will neither send or receive mms images. Did factory reset and . In app settings, the mms box is not highlighted and can not be used. Any ideas? Thanx very much for any assistance you can give.

This depends on what SIM card you have. Some SIMs don't support MMS images etc. If that is not the case, try checking for software updates or seeing if your SIM card has been put properly on the SIM card holder in your phone.

Tried a different sim...nope. still no mms.😪

@Ctwistedpair: I can see that the Text Messages Settings are also greyed out. Can you confirm if you're still able to send texts, as well as make and receive calls? In the meantime, head to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks, and check your Network Mode and Network Operator settings. Then, tap the Back button > SIM Card Manager, and ensure that your SIM is switched on, and is assigned to Text Messages under 'Preferred SIM Cards'.
