S9+ Pie Update is just HORRIBLE!! Help Needed!

Does ANYONE know how to get rid of the stupid notification bubble that pops up every time a new Text message is received & how to get the banner (preview) for messenger! 

I don't understand WHY Samsung have done this!!! It's HORRIBLE!!

Are you talking about this bubble? Go to the Setting -> Advanced features -> Smart pop-up view and turn it off

 

About banner, have you grant permission to display?

Settings -> Apps -> Special access -> Appear on top

However...with regards to FB Messenger...I used to get a preview, of messages received, but since PIE Update, I don't get that anymore

I just used the instructions you gave on my S22 Ultra and there isn't an "appear on top" Option for me and I don't know why.Any idea?
