Hi I’m having issues with no missed call alerts the only way to solve it seems to be to turn off caller Id and spam protection as was advised on Xda forums it seems there are many others with this problem anyone know any other work around as that feature is important to me?

And obviously getting no missed call alerts is not an option I’ve already missed some important calls!!

S9 plus single sim tried factory reset wipe cache etc still the same really not happy about it to be honest and I didn’t expect this after spending this much on a flagship

Thanks

I have been having the same issue along with a few other people. Prior to March update it was all fine it's only since March update that I have found this has happened and literally no option anywhere to make sure missed calls are still displayed on notifications. I think it's issue with software personally. Does anybody know how to fix?

No The only thing that works is turning off the caller Id and spam protection. Like has been mentioned it was working before the March update so Samsung have done something here are you aware of it?

Not something I'm aware of, sadly. However, it'd be worth you guys sending an error report and files over to the software team via the Members app (if you've not done so already): within 15 minutes of it happening (or as soon as  you're aware of it), open Samsung Members app > select Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > Application > tick Send System Log Data, and attach a description of the problem. That'll give them a good picture of what's going on for you guys then - and a way to fix it hopefully.

Meanwhile, if I do hear anything on it, I'll let you know.

Surely as its being talked about on other forums as well its obviously a problem? How do you mean within 15 minutes of it happening it happens all the time when caller Id and spam protection is on the missed call alerts are just dead can't this just be reported direct to see what was in the last update you did that caused this as it was working before that?

@Damienw1: I've escalated it to our software guys - but any software log files you folks can send them will help them narrow down exactly what's going on and fix it quicker. :robothappy:

We usually advise that 15 minute period as the Members app error reporting is more likely to capture an issue happening then - but if it's happening all of the time, then that period might not apply in this case, so please do send an error report their way as and when you can.

Hi guys.

Are you able to try the following and let us know how it goes?

Settings> Lock screen and security> Notifications> Hide content> tap on the option to disable.

Hi It worked on and off but then when you restart the device it stops working again.

Its the same thing with the caller Id and spam protection if the device is running and you switch it on missed calls will show but as soon as you restart that’s it they stop.

So far the only way I have found to keep them showing is to keep the caller I’d and spam protection off which is most annoying as I love that feature!

thanks
