I am selecting the option to remove the frames from all my icons on the home screen.
I select done but when i go back to the home screen the frames are still on icons. Even though the icons only option is still selected.

You couldn't remove the frames in oreo either, setting was there but it didn't actually change anything.
Last time it worked properly was with Android 7

It worked on my S9+ before the Pie upgrade.

I'm on oreo on samsung S9 and it doesn't make any difference lol. But if you Google it you'll see the same as I said.
