S Memo is missing

I lose a lot of notes when i upgraded today from my s7 edge to s9+ 

The thing is that  there isn't  s memo (yellow  note pad app) from samsung officially, now is Note Memo (red app) after Samsung's cloud  restored i understand that i lose all of the notes 😫😫😫

I have just noticed the same. Did you back up o  a pc. I did so just wondering if I can access the old notes on there ?

No problems my friend.i  solve it .there is a option in new  Samsung Note app settings, to sync and restor memos from old S Memo app with samsung account!!! Open Samsung Notes .than in right top corner tap the 3 dots for settings.than import memo data. From Samsung account. Thats it !!!now i have all my memos from the S memo old app!!

I am heart broken.  I backed up my phone then did a factory reset due to an app glitch on my samsung s8. This is a new phone.  I went to my notes and they were GONE!!!!  Due to this new notes app.  I HAD IMPORTANT THINGS ON THERE CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE.  THE restore from the cloud did not work.

Hey @Notes1! Prior to the reset, did you back up your phone regularly to your Samsung account, Google account, Google Drive, Google+ or other cloud storage? How about to a memory card or your computer? Did you use Samsung Smart Switch to create any backups? If so, we can help you to restore any lost data.

It say to import memo data from Samsung Account.  when I click on that, it says no Memo data in Samsung account.  I still have my old phone, and all my memos are in the app on there.  How do I get these to my new phone?

Hi man.in the old phone in the memo app try to back up everything to google drive,than on new device just choose the option to import data from  google drive.

Hey there!  Can you please tell me where I can find Memos on my old phone Samsung S7?  I can access the phone via my computer and wanted to transfer my old memos to my new Samsung.  I cannot use the old screen at all.  Where can I find the memos internally on the phone please?  Thank you

Bruuuh you have problems....what can i say now 🤔 because I don't have my old s7..i have an idea.if you can acces the File Manager app originally Samsung's one an type Memo in search bar you're get directly to memos.
If no ... Only solution is trying to check all other cloud services you may used Google drive ,One drive samsung cloud , maybe one of this was synced with the Smemo and if you're lucky you may have the files back up ed
Or use the Samsung soft sidesync to connect to pc and move all the data

There should be an folder somewhere with memo files. check the SD card you have in the s7 ...

Got a S9 today, same problem.  WHERE can I find the Note that replaces the Memo???  It is not in the Samsung Apps on this phone.
