"Samsung Galaxy has stopped" on S9+

Galaxy S9 Series

I recently purchase a new S9+ but sadly I am having no end of problems with the phone / contacts app temporarily crashing / freezing.

This occurs whenever I open the phone app and trying to make a call or on the contacts page selecting a contact.

I have tried identifying the app(s) that are crashing ... Contacts ... 295 times this week!

I have tried emptying the app cache, the system cache and even doing a full factory reset ... still no joy.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Please, can anyone assist me.

I'm getting really frustrated with this. 

 

2nd issue ... I cannot seen to find a feature to turn on/off or adjust dual-tone multi frequency (DTMF) tones. It was suggested this is found in the Phone App Settings ... under Call Settings/More Settings, but I cannot see it anywhere.

Anyone?
