Pie update looks like iPhone

Just updated my Galaxy s9 to Pie and am terribly disappointed. The entire "new look" to it screams Apple and iPhone! The elementary grade colors throughout and icons on menus changing to colored circles, and the layout of menus, is like having an iPhone again. I moved to Samsung to have a cleaner more sophisticated system, now it's like all the other phones out there. Sad.

I have to completely agree with this, however, i used the word Kiddie instead of Elementary.  This update is terrible. It doesnt make sense. The BIGGEST crime with this update is the SCREENSHOTS! It no longer vibrates AND you can NO LONGER crop whenever you take one like before. They need to stop doing these updates without some sort of input from the customers.  

We chose Samsung to get away from the cookie cutter, iPhone life. Stop trying to become your competition. Become a better Samsung.

Please stop trying to make it obvious that you stole a few iPhone employees and get back on track.

I have the crop option on my Note 9 on pressing the icon you highlighted.

I'm using a Samsung supplied Note 9 in the UK.

I always bought Samsung beceause I dont like iphones, I dont want them.. now with this update i just feel sooo sad that this is not like the samsung i know it anymore.. if I wanted a phone that looked more like an iphone i would have spend my money on that. i want the android version back how it was, like an android.

That's fair enough @Hayroeh 

Then consider using a 3rd party launcher such as Nova Prime and the Goodlock app along with a Samsung Theme and or icon theme pack.

The good thing about android and Samsung phones is the amount of customisation a person can have on them.

I agree with all the other people,  it's just terrifying,  it just looks like an iPhone.  Even acts like it .I hate it , I love Samsung because the fact that I believed that Samsung is bigger than iPhone technology wise , and now its just a shocker but what annoyed me the most is the messenger change , we Samsung users cam use messenger and other apps like  WhatsApp better than iPhone,  we can still use out phones when talking and have our cameras on . Now I don't even have the bubble heads from messenger and now it's really annoying . I hate this ! If I could I'd throw my phone at the wall but it's my baby so no .
