As a long standing iPhone user my new Galaxy S9 Plus arrives in a couple of days so I am trying to be prepared for the transition. I am aware that standard texting apps incur charges for picture messaging. iMessaging avoided these charges. What android apps can you recommend to avoid picture messaging charges on my new s9, please?

Whats app , Viber or messenger for Facebook are what I use

Personally I use Facebook messenger or even email. 

 

Other options are possibly snapchat or hangouts.

Thanks for your replies. Hmmm. Not a Snapchat or Hangouts fan and very anti Facebook. WhatApp look to be a way forward, though.
