Phone heating up and switching off

Recently the phone is heating up plus the screen goes dark  and sometimes  the phone goes dead  and only switches on.by holding the power button and volume down button  software is up to date

run the diagnostics in members app but quite honestly it may be time for a new phone (try a factory reset too but take a backup of your important personal files to PC, USB OTG or cloud first)

I'm not sure if you are using the members app or the website.

Open the (samsung) members app up and at the bottom it will say "support", the diagnosis section can be found there.

You can also make a error report there with a system log attached and tech support will be able to look over it to see if there is any internal issues.

no, they are a safety risk. only use genuine battery parts

Anyone know a price for genuine battery and where from Samsung website quoting £99 to fix

A quick search on Google turned a couple of businesses offering installation of genuine samsung batteries for £60 or less. However, I'll leave it up to you to search and decide who to use because links here aren't really allowed. Samsung obviously would recommend having them do it but £99 is taking the pee

Just got the battery changed ran diagnosis still battery showing weak the old battery has the imei number SN number sticker
