Hi.
My galaxy s9,I've had for 3 years.
When I turn my phone on it come on OK.
After the phone closes,I can't get the phone to respond, all I get is a blank screen. The only way I can get it to respond, I put it on charge and when it shows the battery percentage I puck it up and it comes back to life. Does anyone know what is happening to my phone?

Do your battery percentages change rapidly? Sounds like you need a new battery.

I assume it's not had an accidental bump or water damage.

You could try a factory reset after backing up and removing any relevant sd card @Gazzairee

A Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can take a look but there maybe a charge as the manufacturers warranty is for 2 years.

I agree with the others that the phone's battery may need attention.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
