One UI and Google Hangouts. Is anyone using it and if so, are you able to press 'Send'?

Wife and I have both been updated to One Ui. She has the S9, me the S9+. Hangouts for both of us is broken. Either using Samsung Keyboard or Gboard, we type a message but the send button is unresponsive. Any others having this issue?
