not syncing with fitbit since update

Ever since the last update my fitbit zip will not sync with the app unless I take the battery out to reset.  I have to take it out every time I want to sync.  There are a lot of others having the same problem.  Is this ever going to get fixed???

Exactly the same problem loads of people reporting on Fitbit site. Anyone at Samsung available to help out on this
