Hi!

 

My mobile data has not been working properly- either really slow or does not work at all. At first I thought it was the phone network issue, however I switched network providers and I still have the same issue, despite being in an excellent coverage area. My sister is on the same mobile network but she has no issues whatsoever. I've also noticed during phone calls, the sound would cut out mid convo.  Please help! I'm now pretty sure this is either a hardware issue or a software issue.

Hello, you could try reset your network settings if you haven't done this

Hi

 

Yes I've just tried and didn't help. I've attached some pictures, as you can see it shows 4g at top and nothing loads/sends.

If all else fails Did you Try do a factory reset and see? it seems like something is definitely not right if your sister has no issues with hers and you both are on the same network

Thanks for the advice but I resorted to factory resetting, which did not help. It is strange as calls and data does not work in certain areas, but my sister's does (but a different phone). Could the antenna be partially broken?

I'd say its either hardware related or network related, I know your network provider can guide you how to adjust your network settings or it could be as simple as your sim card needs changing but if that doesn't work id say the phone could need to be repaired
